Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly, ensuring a memorable first impression.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Serve courses to tables and ensure all items are prepared to the highest standards.
- Make menu recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Handle point-of-sale transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Upsell specials and promote the restaurant's beverage program to increase revenue.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in a similar hospitality role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and grooming standards.
- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
