Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, professional table service with a warm and engaging demeanor
- Accurately process orders and payments using our POS system
- Master menu knowledge including ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods
- Coordinate seamlessly with kitchen and bar staff for timely service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked dining area
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns with grace and efficiency
- Upsell specialty dishes, beverages, and seasonal promotions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional serving experience in high-volume restaurant
- Food Handler's Certification (DC compliant)
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask effectively during peak service periods
- Strong attention to detail and memory for orders
