Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service with order accuracy and timing
- Manage 3-4 tables simultaneously during peak hours
- Process payments through POS systems and handle cash transactions
- Upsell specials and premium menu items to increase check averages
- Maintain clean, sanitized dining stations and restock supplies
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff for seamless operations
- Resolve guest concerns promptly with a solutions-oriented approach
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months food service experience preferred
- TAMSA or TABC certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours with frequent bending
- Strong multitasking and time-management skills
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling and checks
- Positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Food safety knowledge (ServSafe certification a plus)
