Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, attentive table service with menu knowledge and wine pairing expertise
- Process orders accurately through our modern POS system while maintaining table flow
- Upsell seasonal specials and premium beverages to enhance guest satisfaction
- Coordinate seamlessly with kitchen/bar staff during peak service hours
- Ensure pristine table presentation and maintain clean dining areas
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism
- Contribute to opening/closing duties including side station prep
- Participate in weekly training sessions on new menu items
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months restaurant serving experience preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems (Toast/Clover) and table management
- Ability to multitask in high-volume settings while maintaining composure
- Excellent communication skills and approachable demeanor
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays (15-25 hrs/week)
- Basic alcohol service certification (TIPS certified or willing to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and time management abilities
