Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service while maintaining knowledge of menu items, specials, and ingredients
- Process orders accurately and efficiently through our POS system
- Manage table rotations, seating assignments, and timing of courses
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality control
- Handle cash transactions, reconcile checks, and maintain accurate financial records
- Uphold strict sanitation standards and safety protocols
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere through proactive communication
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in fast-paced restaurant service
- Strong knowledge of food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic POS system proficiency
- Valid California Food Handler Card (or willingness to obtain)
