Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, attentive service to guests while maintaining knowledge of menu items and specials
- Accurately take and process food/drink orders using POS systems
- Coordinate with kitchen/bar staff for timely order delivery
- Manage table assignments and ensure cleanliness of dining areas
- Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions
- Upsell premium menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience
- Resolve guest concerns promptly with a solutions-oriented approach
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year restaurant serving experience preferred
- Must be 18+ years old and able to obtain alcohol service certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Strong multitasking abilities in high-pressure situations
- Basic math skills for order processing and cash handling
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
