Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service while maintaining professional appearance and demeanor
- Execute precise order taking and coordinate with kitchen staff for timely delivery
- Master extensive menu offerings and wine pairings to enhance guest experiences
- Manage payment processing efficiently while maintaining cash handling accuracy
- Contribute to a positive team environment through seamless communication
- Uphold strict sanitation and safety standards across all service areas
- Proactively address guest inquiries and resolve concerns with exceptional grace
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year fine dining or high-volume restaurant experience required
- ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Exceptional multitasking abilities under pressure during peak hours
- Deep knowledge of beverage service including wine, beer, and cocktails
- Strong attention to detail in order accuracy and table presentation
- Valid DC Food Handler's License (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours with frequent lifting up to 25 lbs
