Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service with menu knowledge and allergen awareness
- Process orders accurately and efficiently through POS systems
- Manage table rotations during peak hours while maintaining service standards
- Collaborate with kitchen/bar staff for seamless order execution
- Handle payments and maintain cash drawer accountability
- Uphold cleanliness standards for dining areas and stations
- Resolve guest concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year restaurant serving experience preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (6+ hours)
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- CA Food Handler Card required (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Basic POS system proficiency
- Team player with positive attitude under pressure
- Knowledge of craft beer/wine a plus
