Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, efficient table service to 4-6 tables simultaneously
- Master menu knowledge including allergens, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Process orders and payments using our modern POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen/bar staff to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain immaculate table settings and dining area cleanliness
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism
- Upsell specials and high-margin menu items
- Participate in opening/closing procedures as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months restaurant serving experience
- Texas Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (4-6 hour shifts)
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling
- Positive attitude and team player mentality
- Must be available for weekend and evening shifts
- Knowledge of Austin's restaurant scene preferred
