Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor upon entering the store.
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the sales floor is clean, safe, and visually appealing.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and store policies.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and customer complaints with patience and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including cash reconciliation and alarm system checks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with a diverse clientele.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift merchandise for extended periods (up to 5-10 lbs).
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
