Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Stock merchandise, organize shelves, and maintain a clean, inviting store environment.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately, processing transactions and handling cash with precision.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in receiving and organizing new stock.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints efficiently to maintain high satisfaction scores.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
- Keep the sales floor tidy, ensuring products are displayed according to visual merchandising standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (previous retail experience is a plus).
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required for eager learners.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage customers warmly.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift light to medium boxes (up to 25 lbs).
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn POS software quickly.
