Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly upon entering the store and provide personalized assistance to help them find products that match their style and needs.
- Visual Merchandising: Maintain the highest standards of store presentation, including folding, hanging, and organizing merchandise to create an inviting shopping environment.
- Sales & Transactions: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the register, ensuring proper handling of cash and digital payments.
- Inventory Management: Assist with stock replenishment, inventory counts, and reporting discrepancies to management.
- Store Operations: Support daily opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and security checks.
- Brand Advocacy: Represent the Urban Oasis brand values by demonstrating professionalism and enthusiasm in every interaction.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
- Experience: Previous retail experience is preferred but not required; a strong customer service mindset is essential.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Technology: Comfortable using point-of-sale (POS) systems and mobile devices.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
