Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Point of Sale (POS): Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our state-of-the-art POS systems, handling returns and exchanges with care.
- Store Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment by following merchandising standards and stocking shelves.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving shipments, conducting regular stock counts, and reporting discrepancies to management.
- Customer Support: Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to achieve daily sales targets and support special store events or promotions.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous retail experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse customer base.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as part of a part-time schedule.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Math Skills: Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing returns accurately.
- Reliability: A consistent track record of punctuality and dependability in previous employment or academic settings.
