Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting shoppers with their needs and answering questions about products.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process transactions and handle returns.
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure the sales floor is clean, tidy, and visually appealing at all times.
- Assist in visual merchandising efforts by setting up displays and ensuring they align with current trends and store policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and maintain store operational standards.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with strict attention to detail and accountability.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and register operations.
