Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean, tidy, and well-presented.
- Provide product knowledge to customers, answering inquiries and making appropriate recommendations.
- Assist in the execution of visual merchandising plans and promotional events.
- Handle cash transactions with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain store operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not always required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions.
- A valid driver's license is not required but may be a plus.
