Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers with a friendly demeanor, providing personalized assistance to meet their shopping needs.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, processing transactions accurately and handling returns or exchanges.
- Stock merchandise, organize displays, and maintain the visual appeal of the store to align with our brand standards.
- Assist in inventory management, including cycle counts and replenishing stock to ensure product availability.
- Build lasting relationships with customers by remembering preferences and following up on their inquiries.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve daily and monthly sales targets and promotional goals.
- Keep the sales floor clean, safe, and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required; a strong passion for fashion and sales is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs to assist with stock and displays.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory counts.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with technology, including smartphones and tablet-based POS systems.
