Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a smile, providing product recommendations and answering inquiries.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and visually appealing by restocking merchandise and maintaining displays.
- Process returns and exchanges according to company policy while resolving customer concerns with empathy.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and maintain high store standards.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock counts and merchandise receiving.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company operational procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Proficiency with computers and POS systems is a plus.
