Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, processing transactions accurately and handling payments.
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean, tidy, and visually appealing at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment and transfers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
- Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and loss prevention procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory counts.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Familiarity with retail POS systems is preferred but not mandatory.
