Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process transactions.
- Stock shelves and displays, ensuring products are organized, clean, and facing forward.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory counts as required.
- Handle returns and exchanges while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and store targets.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment for both guests and staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 4-6 hours).
- Strong verbal communication skills and a positive demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally and perform physical tasks such as pushing carts and climbing ladders.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
