Responsibilities
- Deliver Exceptional Service: Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide knowledgeable assistance to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Store Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor by stocking shelves, folding merchandise, and organizing displays according to visual merchandising standards.
- Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit, and digital payments with precision.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving shipments, checking stock levels, and reporting any discrepancies or damaged goods to management immediately.
- Customer Engagement: Proactively approach customers to offer assistance, recommend products, and promote current sales or loyalty programs.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow team members to ensure store goals are met during shifts, including opening and closing procedures.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers and colleagues.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive motions such as stocking and folding.
- Attitude: A positive, customer-first mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
- High School Diploma: Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED.
