Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor to ensure a welcoming shopping environment.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately, processing sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Stock shelves and displays with merchandise, ensuring products are organized, clean, and well-presented.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock shortages to management to ensure product availability.
- Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and restrooms.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous retail experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the sales floor throughout the shift.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse customer base.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail software is preferred.
