Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers with a smile, answering questions and providing product recommendations.
- Point of Sale: Process transactions accurately using the POS system and handle cash, credit, and gift cards.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and well-stocked to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
- Merchandising: Assist in setting up displays and ensuring products are presented according to company standards.
- Inventory Support: Help with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Problem Solving: Address customer concerns and escalate complex issues to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but training is provided.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Technology: Comfortable using basic computer systems and POS equipment.
