Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and provide product recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
- Store Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor by stocking shelves and organizing displays.
- Point of Sale: Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the register while ensuring all policies are followed.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts, receiving shipments, and monitoring stock levels to prevent out-of-stock situations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with management and fellow associates to achieve daily sales goals and operational targets.
- Loss Prevention: Remain vigilant in identifying and preventing theft or damage to merchandise.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required; training is provided.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform physical tasks such as stocking and cleaning.
- Basic Skills: Proficiency with basic computer systems and POS (Point of Sale) equipment.
