Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers warmly as they enter the store, providing a high level of customer service and support.
- Assist customers in locating products, answering questions, and making informed purchasing decisions.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and well-stocked to ensure a pleasant shopping environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain inventory levels.
- Handle cash and card transactions with strict adherence to company security policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Reliable and punctual with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
