Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Store Operations: Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
- Transaction Management: Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about current inventory, promotions, and product features to answer customer inquiries.
- Merchandising: Help with restocking shelves, folding merchandise, and ensuring product displays are eye-catching.
- Loss Prevention: Monitor the sales floor to prevent theft and ensure the safety of customers and staff.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse customer base.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain high standards of visual merchandising.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
