Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers warmly upon entering the store, providing product recommendations and answering inquiries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor by regularly restocking shelves and straightening displays.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently, processing transactions and handling returns.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving stock and organizing back-of-house areas.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and loss prevention procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and customer service goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior retail experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, customer-centric attitude.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory counts.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Familiarity with retail software or POS systems is a plus.
