Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process sales and returns.
- Stock shelves and displays with merchandise, ensuring the store is organized and visually appealing.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to the management team.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining promotional displays and seasonal events.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital transactions with strict accuracy and accountability.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous retail experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse customers.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
