Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately, processing transactions and handling cash and card payments efficiently.
- Restock shelves and displays to ensure products are presented attractively and are fully available for customers.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, restrooms, and break areas at all times.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and store policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and merchandise processing with attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours) and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Reliable attendance and the flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Proficiency with technology and a willingness to learn our POS software.
- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for customer service.
