Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process sales and returns.
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the sales floor is visually appealing and well-maintained.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with strict attention to accuracy and security.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and store targets.
- Assist in inventory management and loss prevention activities.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability and store policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail experience is a strong plus.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
- Reliable and punctual with the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Familiarity with retail software or POS systems is preferred but not mandatory.
- Enthusiastic about fashion and staying up-to-date with current trends.
