Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and maintain store cleanliness according to company standards.
- Process incoming inventory and manage stock levels to prevent shortages.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding product availability and store policies.
- Assist in setting up promotional displays and seasonal events.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers and team members.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Enthusiastic attitude and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
