Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized customer service through product knowledge and style recommendations
- Process transactions using our POS system while maintaining accurate cash handling
- Execute visual merchandising standards including displays, floorsets, and inventory rotation
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and tagging new merchandise shipments
- Maintain store cleanliness and organized stockroom operations
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance product expertise
- Support loss prevention by adhering to security protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year retail or customer service experience preferred
- Availability to work weekends and holiday shifts (15-25 hours/week)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math proficiency and comfort with POS technology
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Passion for fashion, sustainability, and local Portland culture
- Valid Oregon driver's license (for occasional inventory runs)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
