Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, welcoming attitude to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately to process transactions.
- Keep the sales floor and stockroom organized, clean, and fully stocked to maintain visual merchandising standards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and support store operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in the receiving and organization of new merchandise.
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges with professionalism and care.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand and move around the sales floor for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Reliable transportation is a plus.
