Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service through personalized product recommendations and style consultations
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer accountability
- Execute visual merchandising standards to create captivating in-store displays
- Manage inventory control including receiving, stocking, and cycle counting
- Assist with store operations including opening/closing procedures and loss prevention
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store aesthetics
- Actively participate in product knowledge training to stay current on collections
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of retail or customer service experience
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage diverse clientele
- Basic math proficiency and comfort handling cash transactions
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays (up to 25 hours/week)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Proficiency with retail technology (POS systems, mobile apps)
- Passion for New Orleans culture and tourism industry
- High school diploma or equivalent required
