Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers warmly, answering questions and providing product recommendations to enhance the shopping experience.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, processing transactions efficiently while ensuring all sales policies are followed.
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean, tidy, and visually appealing at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management to prevent stock shortages.
- Assist with visual merchandising initiatives to showcase products effectively and drive sales.
- Handle customer returns, exchanges, and exchanges with a positive and problem-solving attitude.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve daily and weekly sales targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail software is an advantage.
