Responsibilities
- Front Desk Management: Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Communication: Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in a timely and courteous fashion.
- Administrative Support: Manage the front desk area, including mail distribution, package handling, and maintaining office supplies.
- Scheduling: Schedule appointments and manage the company calendar efficiently.
- Customer Service: Address inquiries from clients and employees with patience and professionalism.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of visitors, incoming/outgoing correspondence, and office activity logs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a receptionist or in a front desk role is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; additional business administration coursework is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a polished telephone manner.
- Professionalism: Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Flexibility: Ability to work varied hours, including some weekends or evenings if required.
