Responsibilities
- Delight customers with friendly, efficient service during evening and weekend shifts
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer integrity
- Organize and restock merchandise to ensure shelves are fully stocked and visually appealing
- Assist with store visual merchandising including displays, signage, and seasonal promotions
- Contribute to a clean, safe shopping environment through regular maintenance duties
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales and operational targets
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and service techniques
Qualifications
- No prior retail or customer service experience required
- Availability to work evenings (4 PM - 11 PM) and weekends (including Saturdays and Sundays)
- Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks including lifting (up to 30 lbs)
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling and inventory tasks
- Reliable transportation to Canal Street location
