This role offers 20-25 hours weekly with availability required Thursday-Sunday (4:00 PM - 10:00 PM) and occasional holiday shifts. Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service through product knowledge, styling advice, and seamless checkout experiences
- Execute visual merchandising standards including restocking, displays, and inventory management
- Process transactions accurately while maintaining cash drawer accountability
- Operate POS systems and handle returns/exchanges per company policies
- Collaborate with team to maintain store cleanliness and safety standards
- Participate in inventory counts and stock replenishment procedures
- Support loss prevention efforts through vigilant customer monitoring
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (currently enrolled students welcome)
- 6+ months retail or customer service experience preferred
- Flexible availability Thursday-Sunday evenings (4:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
- Basic math proficiency and cash handling aptitude
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong communication skills with diverse clientele
- Reliable transportation to Ocean Avenue location
