Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in Reno neighborhoods and parks while maintaining control and positive interaction
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via our mobile app
- Administer basic care (water, treats, waste cleanup) during walks
- Monitor pets for health concerns and behavior changes
- Maintain detailed walk logs and client communication records
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Build trustful relationships with both pets and owners
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling or walking experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to handle large/active dogs
- Strong communication skills and tech-savvy (app usage)
