Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs of various breeds and sizes through designated Indianapolis neighborhoods
- Provide fresh water and monitor pets for health/wellness during walks
- Clean up after pets and maintain clean walking environments
- Follow specific client instructions regarding feeding, medication, and handling
- Reliably communicate pet status and any concerns to owners
- Adhere to all safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Manage schedules and maintain timely service delivery
Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years old with valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Previous dog handling experience preferred (professional or personal)
- Physical ability to walk dogs for 1-3 hours in varying weather conditions
- Trustworthy and punctual with strong work ethic
- Basic knowledge of canine behavior and handling techniques
- Excellent communication skills and client service orientation
- Availability for flexible shifts (early mornings, evenings, weekends)
