Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations within San Jose
- Utilize GPS technology for optimal route planning and time management
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Inspect vehicles daily to ensure safe operating conditions
- Provide friendly, professional customer interactions during delivery process
- Report any delivery issues or vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Complete end-of-day paperwork and cash handling procedures
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Reliable personal vehicle with valid insurance (or willingness to use company vehicle)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service communication abilities
- Smartphone proficiency for GPS and delivery apps
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends
