Responsibilities
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, processing cash, credit, and digital payments with 100% accuracy.
- Greet customers warmly upon entry and exit, answering questions regarding products and store policies.
- Keep the checkout counter clean, organized, and fully stocked with bags and supplies.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and in accordance with company policy.
- Assist in maintaining the overall appearance of the sales floor to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is highly preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong numerical skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
