Responsibilities
- Efficiently operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately and securely.
- Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with strict accuracy and accountability.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area.
- Assist in restocking shelves and organizing the sales floor as needed.
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous cash handling or retail experience is preferred but not required; training provided.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
