Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service at the point of sale.
- Process transactions accurately, including cash, credit, and debit payments.
- Handle cash drawers with strict accuracy and responsibility.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, prices, and store policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Assist with inventory stocking and merchandise displays as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills for cash handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
