Responsibilities
- Process cash, card, and mobile payments accurately using POS systems
- Provide outstanding customer service during checkout interactions
- Scan and bag merchandise efficiently while maintaining order standards
- Assist with price checks and product inquiries
- Keep checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Handle returns/exchanges per company policy
- Monitor self-checkout stations when assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Minimum 6 months cashier or customer service experience
- Strong math skills and cash handling accuracy
- Basic proficiency with POS systems or willingness to learn
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours)
