Responsibilities
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and accurately to process customer purchases.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with a positive and professional attitude.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict attention to accuracy and security.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, and store policies.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
- Assist in bagging purchases and ensuring customers leave with a smile.
- Resolve minor customer issues and escalate complex matters to a supervisor when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or cashier roles is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
