As a Cashier, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring every customer has a positive shopping experience from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions with strict accuracy, including making change and balancing the cash drawer at the end of the shift.
- Assist customers in locating products and answering basic inquiries about our store policies.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to maintain an inviting store environment.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is a plus but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle money accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be available to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
