What You'll Do:

Responsibilities
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and process payments accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and answering inquiries.
- Handle cash, checks, and credit/debit card transactions with strict accuracy.
- Assist with bagging groceries and maintaining the cleanliness of the checkout area.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of stock needs.
- Process returns and exchanges following company policy.
- Cash out the register at the end of the shift and prepare deposits.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous experience in retail or cashier roles is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to count money accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Reliable transportation is required.
