Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Provide exceptional customer service and address inquiries with professionalism
- Bag groceries and assist customers with loading purchases
- Maintain clean, organized checkout areas and surrounding spaces
- Handle returns/exchanges according to company policies
- Monitor inventory and alert management of stock discrepancies
- Operate cash registers and reconcile daily sales
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
- Strong mathematical accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
