Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer accountability
- Provide friendly, efficient service to all customers including product recommendations and checkout assistance
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and maintain store cleanliness according to company standards
- Assist with inventory management through stock counts and order verification
- Resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly with professional communication
- Operate scanning equipment and process returns/exchanges per policy
- Adhere to all security procedures for cash handling and loss prevention
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
- Minimum 6 months customer service or retail experience
- Basic math proficiency and comfort handling cash/transactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient with basic computer technology and point-of-sale systems
