Responsibilities
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and locating items.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Process returns, exchanges, and apply discounts as necessary.
- Monitor inventory levels at the register when needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail or cashier positions is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Reliable availability for weekends and holidays.
